Same here, called me on the same day. Did not answer. Seems that telemarketer from US, Africa & Europe got my phone number and tries to sell me something; which I never answer. Even if i have requested my phone number to be private and confidential, in some way, someone found my number. How to make all these company stops calling us ?
ummm, how do I make these calls stop? you cannot. you may as well ask yourself how do I make all those flyers I don't want or use in my mailbox stop arriving. These calls are junk mail... for your phone. Having an unlisted number will not stop some dialer from dialing it. :-P
Do not call back, this is a service in the US, they scout valid numbers and then sell them to telemarketers as being valid... with proof available. They will always hang up when you call them, they are not the telemarketers themselves, just the scouts looking for live numbers, when the caller is available, time, time zone, location, etc. DNCL is useless outside Canada.
I keep getting these calls, same number, different times. I am on Bell also.
Blows my mind that companies such as Apple haven't yet implemented a technical solution yet.. they can.
We need someone in the senate to get pissed off, petition and force the CRTC to bind carriers to new rules,
allowing their customers to block certain numbers... Christ they are making money off these a****** so that
