This is a B.S. CALL. I have received calls from this number for two days. They never leave a message. I answered earlier today and, with a very thick foreign accent, asked for me by first name. When I asked what he wanted, he hung up. I just received another call from 202-431-4853 and my caller ID says it's from Lewis Tuck HOWEVER, this same guy with the thick accent said his name was James and he was from the Federal Government Grant Money Department with a once in a lifetime offer for me. He wanted to tell me all about it so I told him I wanted every single detail. When he started, I very quietly hung up. I bet he's still talking.
This guy keeps calling me. He said he had a grant for me from us grant dept.. I asked him if it was from ed.gov or USDE and he got agressive cause he disnt know what I was asking. I asked for address and he gave the white house address and I said so you are in the white house so he got pissed. I told him I had found out his call was a scheme and he got really mad. He hjg up and keeps calling me and not answer. He,has a really hard accent an Indian from india. He sounds like guys who help us on Time Warner help or when one calls at n8ght on a company and other countries answer.
Who can I report this to. I hope this guy is caught and let me have 10 minutes with him.
keep getting calls from this number and a few others, these people say they calling from the grovernment grant office and that i was randomly selected to receive $9000. i have friends and family memebers recieving these calls.
Scam-the Government does not randomly call people and award them thousands of dollar because they are a good citizen, pays their bills on time, mows their lawn every 5 days or brushes their teeth 3 times a day. To receive a grant there is a strict process that must be followed. In addition, these clowns will have you pay an acquisition fee (maybe $250.00 or so). So they get your money and you get taken to the cleaners (you get no money). There is no free lunch, no free money and the only free cheese is in the mouse trap. Do not call them.
