Yep the same story, call from Washington, D.C from the US Grants Department.... they said the Fed. Gov wants to give me $7000....asked him if this was a scam, he said no. So I asked him I wanted to talk to someone with authority and he said he would call back when he could get someone to talk to me......still waiting for a call back
This number was called me several times in this week already,nobody speaks when I answer the phone.Finally today I answer the call again and someone said I am one of randomly selected people who will receive money for education because I don't have any crime recording in past 6 months , I am like I didn't apply for anything so how did I enter?And he ask me for bank account number stuff and I am like you can send me a check...then he said he can't...As a college student, I do know most grant or scholarship from official resources like government will have an option of send a check but not ask your account number, So I hung up. If they ask your account number, don't trust!!!
