A person knock on my door at 10:30 at night. He stated that he had a "package" for me. I did not open the door and I begin to ask him who was the package from and what it was in reference to. The person would not say and continue to asked if I wanted to sign for the package. I said "NO" repeatedly. I started asking the person who would deliver a package at 10:30 at night. He stated that he would leave a card on my door. The card that he left had the Next Day Delivery Services INC. and a phone number of 202-445-5528 which a machine is asking you to leave your name and number and the best time to come back with your package. I think that this is very dangerous and unsafe to send unknown packages to someone.
A person left their card with the business of Next Day Delivery Services INC and a phone number of 202-445-5528 stating they have a "package" for me. When you call the number you get a machine asking you to leave your name and address and phone number and best time for the "courier" to come back with your "package." In other words, there is no way to know what "package" they are referring to and no one to speak to about it. It seems like a very dangerous and unethical company.

Someone from this company came to our house to deliver a subponea to one of my roommates who witnessed an accident. It's legit, just kind of a weird business with an aggressive approach to getting you paperwork/court documents.
I got a business card left somewhere near my front door that was found by a visitor. It also said we have a package for you and to call 202-445-5528. I was going to call the number to find out what on earth they could be delivering because I haven't ordered anything and am not expecting any packages. After reading these other postings, I still don't feel comfortable with making the call, especially if there is no one there to actually answer the line. And if they are court papers I think aggressive behavior is not the best way to make a delivery. And this just seems like bad business practice. What's wrong with having a business card with a point of contact name or actually answering the phone or returning calls left on the machine before coming to someone's house. This world is very dangerous and it looks like all the people they are trying to deliver to are women.
I was sent a package from "ProFlowers" typical of Nick and everybody knows how cheap ProFlowers is, they told my front desk receptionist that I had to sign for the flowers personally. I have received tons of flowers over the years and never been required to sign for them personally, sounded shady, again typical for someone so desperate. Turns out the delivery person said that inside the box was court documents so that my signature would show that I had been served. These people are obviously good at what they do, unfortunately - I REALLY AM NOT IN THE COUNTRY [***]. jeez get a life already...
