Just had the call. Warning me that my computer was sending information without my knowledge and that I could be the victim of a cyber crime. I got a call back number from the woman, she was very loud and over enunciating every word. I thanked her for her number and informed her that I was going to report the number to the cops since she was trying to perpetrate a cyber crime. She hung up.
Received a call stating hackers were trying to get into my computer. Caller stated they were from Microsoft and wanted my IP address. I asked for their name and phone number. They stated they would talk me through a process to see where a hacker was coming from. I didn't do this with them. They raised their voices and hung up on me. Looking to see if it's a scam.
Similar to above - an Indian sounding man claimed to be calling from a secret on-line tracking department of our national telephone company (ISP).
He wanted to walk me through a fix for malware in my computer that was over-loading the network.
Asked him for a phone number to call him back and got this number.

This afternoon I had an Indian sounding guy who said he was from a local (CYTA) Internet service supplier, and I had been on a site where I could have been hacked or malicious software put onto my computer. I asked him where he was calling from, "America", said he, and was from CYTA Headquarters in America (CYTA is a Cyprus, where I reside, communication company). I asked for his phone number and he gave me 1 202 4462086. Told him I didn't believe him and he rang off. Google sent me an email within minutes saying that someone had tried to hack my Google account.
Received a call from a woman with thick accent wanting me to get on my server, she said she was from Microsoft. The number was 1-202-446-2068. She said that it was urgent that I open my computer so she ID it. Checked this web site and found same scam dated November.
As all others reported, got repeated calls from this Indian guy calling himself Sam, saying he was calling from Microsoft and similar story about malware on my PC. When I said give me your number I will call you back he gave me this number - 1-202-446-2086. He is waiting for me to call him back. Keep waiting punk!
