This number called my home phone asked for my husband by name and when i said he wasn't home the man on the line screamed "[***] you" to me 5 times sorry for the language but i couldn't believe that
This number has called me for the past two weeks wanting to give me $9,000 I have told them no thank you and to take me off the call list when I told them im not going to for their scam I was called a stupid f****** racist b**** so if that is our US government they would not talk to me like that I have now blocked this number
I received a call today from 202-455-8917 telling me that I have been awarded a $9,000.00 grant from the U.S. Federal Grant Department in Washington D.C.. Reason given was for being a good citizen with no arrest, warrants or DUI's. Bogussss! She(Jennifer) then began to as me for my personal information such as full name and address. After verifying the information I was instructed to hang-up and call back immediately another number 1-646-663-7625 to received additional information on how to receive my grant which could be given 3-ways; cash, moneygram or direct deposit. But before doing so Jennifer had to give me a ID# that began with PN# that was to be given to the the person I had to call. So I did, speaking to a man named Jake Ownens, very wise and easy to talk to. He asked me to verify my personal information. I did, then he told me what I needed to do to recieved my money in cash and that I would have to spend $250.00 to purchase specific gift cards in turn getting back the $250.00 once the transaction is complete. You also were told that in order for you to receive such a large amount that you may have to go to more than one Western Union location to receive the $9,250.00 and that at your door step there would be representitives with documents to sign for the grant. Included US Federal Reserve Bank, Government of Human Health Services and the Internal Revenue docs. Now the specfic gift cards were ITunes and that after getting these cards on the back of these cards are codes for which is given to Mr. Owens to process the transactions. Once this step was satisfied you would receive a tracking number for your Westren Union which you would have to pay $29.00 to process. Now here is the kicker. Mr. Owens will tell you that he will need 10 minutes to process the information only to come back and say "Oh by the way your state says that any amount over $7000.00 you will have to pay a state tax" of in my case $800.00 that must be paid first. Of course Mr. Owens says, he can not proceed with the transaction untill you satify the state tax. By this time you have given them your $250.00. Lost....
