I recieved a call from this number someone by the name rose asked for address, the 4 digit of my social security number saying that i was selected to recieve money ..i knew it was a scam then...
Ask for info. Said I would be receiving a bunch of money. They got the last 4 digits of ss# Could that cause me harm and what should I do? I actually gave them a prepaid cc number to put the money on that they claimed I would get. So they cant do anything with that thing. There is nothing on it
You replied to the scam call.
They added your last four to a database that has lots of personal data about you
They added your phone number as a "confirmed sucker", thus making that number more valuable to the scammers
You will now get more calls and emails with scam attempts.
If they have any kind of connection with a pseudo-legal sales organization, they may claim you used a fraudulent method to pay for their product or services.
i got a call from this number and they said i had received a free grant from government they gave me this address it was address to houston city hall 900 bagbys street Houston texas, 77002. instructed me to give them my bank card number, prepaid card number. i gave them nothing. they said they will call back to get more information or to see if i could use someone elses card.
