just got a call from this number and a guy told me they are calling me from tax and audit dept and i did a tax fraud and i have to talk to senior officer in regards to that and i said i live too cause I know this is a scam and immediately hung up on me.
Just received a message on my home phone from an Agent Edward Cox at the Federal Trade Commission Office stating that it was "Very urgent to call us at 202-459-0949"
I gather this is another scam call from the 202-459-0949 number! I checked here / saw this information and did not call them.
I also received a message on my home phone at 1212 where the person (left no name) said they were from the Federal Trade Commission Office and it was "Very urgent to call us at 202-459-0949". Do not plan to call them back. Figure if the FTC wants to contact me they will send me an official letter. I also went to the FTC website and filed a complaint.
