Got a call from 1 202-459-2102, guy identifies as Gary Johnson and says a family member is under investigation and they need contact info. Refuses to identify his department when asked even got hostile and agitated when pressed to answer which department eventually hanging up.I called him back identified myself as a former officer and questioned his professionalism and his avoidance of information to which he responded with insults, after informing him on where he should shove his cranium I was hung up on again.
I received a similar call. An Investigator Johnson with the fraud unit wanted me to call him back bc he had questions on someone I knew.. very odd, looks like this is a scammer.
If someone from a government agency calls you, you should always be greeted with where and who exactly they are.
