This is one of those scam "IRS is getting ready to file a lawsuit against you" calls. I only see one other person besides me received a call (this was just26 minutes ago) so this must be a new number they have just started using. Block, Block, BLOCK!

Called @ 4:25 Pm yesterday - Message was: " Hello, We have been trying to reach you. This call is officially a final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Services . The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you To get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 202-465-4221, I repeat 202-465-4221.
This robo message was a female voice with adequate english however received a prior call about 4 days ago (have received this same msg several times) with a male voice ( non english speaking) sometimes with a heavy accent stating ..."To avoid initial appearance before a Magistrate judge or a Grand Jury for a Federal Criminal Offense.........Please call immediately......" Fed UP!!!!
Contacted local State Police and was given an 800 Number for IRS as they say the number of these calls is increasing :( - 800-366-4484. They say you can leave a message but due to the number of messages the mailbox may be full (Bummer) also have a web site - www.tigta.gov Go to the red IRS box in the upper right and place a report of your call.
