i got a phone call from this no202-470-5055 or 202-470-4671 thay said that i was to recieve 7000.00 dollars from the goverment but i have to pay 99.00 dollars what for prank is this thank you kenneth umbenhauer
I was scammed spoke to so many people involved in this scam ring. I used to work in the fraud dept at a large bank and i did my due diligence and still got scammed even though i applied for a federal grant through a verified company over 30days prior to getting a phone call that has left me broke while on ssi disability. It was a 10k grant and i paid 2k ultimately and when the Western Union funds didnt show up all day and nobody would answer the phone or hang up on me i got that sick feeling of how i could be so stupid. my last phone call actually got me to a dept of the government that is now helping me try and retrieve my funds. other numbers to look out for are: 202-280-7382; 23456;123456, 202-821-4239. the only lines that are clear are the times the call from a number on the caller id that shows 123456, 23456, etc you get the point.
