Yes, I got one today. I let it go to voice mail but they didn't leave a message. The phone number is for the NAIC (National Association of Insurance Commissioners. But it's odd a professional organization wouldn't leave a message and they called after regular business hours.

Yes - I have been receiving calls from this number and finally I answered. The man who called kept trying to verify information (they had my e-mail, phone number, and new what kind of car I drive). I declined to verify info because he was vague and sketchy about details. He also claimed that he was afiliated with my car insurance company - but I called and Progressive had no idea what his was about.
I just called this number back - it says it is the NAIC online. It goes to a recorded message that says "Be aware. This number is currently being spoofed. We are working with providers to fix this..."
This is a scam. I just spoke to someone at the NAIC and was informed their number had been compromised and it is someone claiming to be from the IRS and if you do not pay you can be arrested. They are trying to take care of the matter. However, advised to block the call and or goodness sake do not give them any of your personal information or agree to pay them any amount of money. Apparently, from what I was told the calls are coming from Pakistan. So thats my information to share.
