just receiced another call from this # on my cell...didnt answer and no message left on VM...called it back and was instructed to press 2 to be removed from their "special promotions list"....I am on the do not call registry and really wish they would stop these calls. does anyone know how to report these calls and actually get results?
Just got a call on my home phone. I answered it but I wasn't really listening.... Some woman talking about credit and other stuff about how they can offer a better deal, bla bla. They ask you to press 1 to talk with someone and 3 if you don't want to be disturbed par them anymore. I just hung up.
They called me last night. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. I assume they are affiliated with that scamming outfit that has been calling about warranties.
I got a call from202-495-7170. I called back and preesed 1 to get my name off their list. But the computer message just repeats itself. This is very annoying. I will add my name to the list of thise trying to get these guys terminated.
don't even bother answering the call, unless you have minutes to waste on your cellphone, more than likely its related to the "this is your second notice that your warranty on your vehicle is about to expire" scam.
Do your research on the phone numbers, never give out credit card numbers or personal info.
Cell phone companies charge $$$ to have specific numbers blocked. I program the number into my phone and add the name 'don't answer' or 'telemarketer'
some phones have a block number feature.
