just receiced another call from this # on my cell...didnt answer and no message left on VM...called it back and was instructed to press 2 to be removed from their "special promotions list"....I am on the do not call registry and really wish they would stop these calls. does anyone know how to report these calls and actually get results?
just got a call from this number as well. must be a newer number by the date of the posts. i wish the US could stop these. i have a heart condition and getting to the phone can sometimes be a chore. i get there only to answer a hang up call. would love for them to be help responsable.
Yup got this call today at 1:50pm...idiots.
It's a recording saying they want to help with my credit card debt...duhh ain't got a credit card...dumb [***]..ohhh wait, maybe they wanna help me GET in debt. lol
Regardless, it tells you to push 1 to speak to someone or press 3 to get off their list...nahh just hung up..who knows what pressing any of those numbers will get me involved with.
There's gotta be a way to beat these people at their own game!!
If you pick up the phone and remain perfectly silent, they will think the line is 'invalid'. After a few phonecalls, they usually stop. It worked with quite a few numbers so far.
Another option is to put this number into your 'ignore' list on your phone, if your phone has such a feature.
