Received a call from this number yesterday requesting our input on a national debt survey. We're registered on the National and State Do Not Call List but these kinds of calls still get thru - that's just not right!
When they call ,tell them you can't hear them; they will turn up the volume ; get a loud whistle, and blow it in the phone, it will make them think twice.
I tried that with an air horn- Man, you should have heard the cuss words come out of that guy. It was hilarious. I finally called him a polite A$$Hole and hung up.
Recorded message from Jennifer from ESG Research stating that I was being asked to take a brief survey regarding the country's debt crisis. In return for completing the survey, I would receive a free 2 day cruise to the Bahamas. A gratuity charge and small port tax may apply. Press 1 to continue or 9 to be removed from the calling list. I listened to 3 questions asking to rate how the (1) Democratic party, (2) Republican party, and (3) the President is handling the debt crisis on a scale of 1 to 5. I was then asked to stay on the line to talk to a travel agent. At this point I hung up because it sounded like a total scam.
