This number has been calling several times a day for the past week.. and I have been ignoring it. My mother had a call the other day and hung up saying the man got an attitude with her when she told him to take her off the list. She said it was a heavy accent, a busy call center. I just had an unknown number pop up, and because I am waiting for someone to call back, I picked it up. It was a heavy accented man asking for me, and I could barely hear him from the people in the background. When I told him he needed to take me off his list, he got an attitude... I told him he was a scammer, and he is by law required to take me off his call list. He asked how did I know he was a scammer.. I said because of his accent, the background, and because the US Government doesn't call giving out grants.. he kept trying to talk and yell at me, but I kept speaking very loudly over him, telling him I am reporting him. He just kept yelling, "Go ahead and call the police! Call the police!" I kept repeating, "Sir.. you take me off your call list and do not call again. Do you understand? Do you understand?" then I only heard the background noise and it sounded like typing... I'd be real careful on these calls in case they can pull private info. I'm not sure how that works. But he wouldn't hang up. I just kept repeating do you understand till he yelled back "Yes I understand" and I hung up. So.. yeah..I wouldn't stay on the line with these people too long. I'm reporting them and blocking the number... I got a call from the 202 number immediately after.. but they won't answer. They just keep hanging up.
