This 'number' has been harassing people for nearly THREE years and hasn't been SHUT DOWN? Yes, its SPOOFED, but the phone companies COULD program software that whenever someone tries to put this number 'out', its BLOCKED. They could, but they don't want to; they like us using up our cell minutes on drivel.
People, WHY are you answering these calls??? Pick up/hang up w/o answering to break the calls, or, like my cell has, press 'Reject' when you get these calls. When I do that, the number/frequency of these calls go way down. I got this call tonight - my first go around with them - and did this. Now I will BLOCK them with my Call Blocker.
As far as 'telling them not to call' that ONLY applies to LEGITIMATE companies/charities and political campaigns. YOU DO have the right to tell those calls, after the first one, to STOP per the DNC List. BUT CRIMINALS will not listen. So, with anonymous calls like these, do the above mentioned method and REPORT them immediately.
Then WRITE YOUR CONGRESSPEOPLE. DEMAND that we not have to INTERACT WITH CRIMINALS in order to 'protect our rights' via the DNC List laws. We SHOULDN'T have to TALK TO THIEVES and SCAMMERS in order to be left alone. MAKE CONGRESS AMEND/CHANGE the law so that these calls generate CRIMINAL CHARGES.
THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO. When they call, answer the phone , let them go through their sales pitch. act as if you are really interested, ask them to restate their offers, then act confused and have them do it again, act confused again about the quantities and costs, over and over but still acting interested, then after a while ask them " so, what are you wearing?, Do you like phone sex? and other absurd things. They will get quite pissed at you for wasting their time.
These people get paid to MAKE SALES, NOT WASTE TIME SCREWING AROUND WITH YOU.
They will quickly take you off their list. It has worked nicely for me, and it's fun too.
BS off-shore pharmacy. They pretend to be in the US and Canada selling pharmacy products from China. Complete BS. I regiestered on their website in 2008 and they have been unrelenting. They change their phone # every other day. They try to scare you into paying bogus credit cards bills---whether you ordered product or not.
On one call I go the telemarketer to tell me she was in Toronto. Toronto police should shut this down.
