I got the same call but obviously it's not the IRS!
they don't call you number one, they would send you a letter or notification, and tell you to call them. Plenty of scams going on pretending to be the iRS
I even called my local police and they verified yes it's a scam this been going on for over a year now, and advise me to just ignore them. I just hate to see other people taking advantage of by these scumbags
