We are getting the same calls from 202 506 9749 and they are telling us to go to the local IRS office for tax fraud. First of all, why would I go to my local office for tax fraud when I know that I paid my taxes? Come on people, get serious and use your heads! The IRS is not going to tell you to go to your local office if you are in a fraud situation with them. It just takes common sense to understand that they want you to panic and ask how much you owe and then they will take your money. Just don't answer the phone but if you accidentally do, just tell them that you will take care of it yourself and hang up and go back to enjoying your life!
I received a call from this party and stated that I owe the IRS money. I had my relative called back and stated that he is federal employee and wish to resolve this debt in person, but the person refused to give an address.
I received a messege from Linda Brown's phone number 202-506-9749 but the person who was calling himself was "Dennis Richard" from IRS regarding legal issue taken by IRS. He said "Get in touch with IRS at this number (202)506-9749. I repeat (202)560-9749. Do not disregard this message, rather make it emergency. Thank you." with heavy Indian or Pakistani accent.
