Something like 70% of the "SPOOF" Numbers being used start with that 202 area code. It's appears to come out of Washington, DC....Ironic, from where The Government hangs...
Now...if 202 I send it to voice mail, if its legit they leave a message. They don't so I add them to contact in the Spam file and never even hear my phone ring if they call again.
I answered and the guy asked for Cindy, I said you have the wrong number and he said well I'm looking for the owner of this number. I asked for what? He said are you the owner of this number? I said no, so he hung up. I'm sure it's some sort of scam, I don't know anyone named Cindy and have never had anyone call asking for them. Sounded like a telemarketer newbie.
