It's supposedly a college and they keep harassing me after I have told them numerous times to stop. I will go to the authorities if needed this so bull [***]
They have called me all week asking if I wanted to receive a Government Grant which I did apply for. Well I finally went ahead and did it and gave them my card number but that's all. They told me they would call me back in 24 hours well they haven't and I though I was getting the money so I put in a request for a car and went and looked at it and everything. Not to mention I am a college student and now am stuck.
Called my daughter's phone telling her she could get free college money and all she had to do was give them bank information and they would put the money in the account! She laughed and handed the phone to me. I asked him to explain his offer(by the way could barely understand him, poor English and lots of background noise) just to see how long this idiot would keep trying to get my info. Everything I asked him, like name of the company, website and so on he would not answer. Just say over its free grant money and wouldn't we want some? Told him he could mail or email me the info so I could read over it. He said, ' Oh, no ma'am, we can't do that, it doesn't work that way'. Just need to pay $23.87 and bank confirmation, or credit card, and Shazam! You've been taken.
My daughter thought it was comical that this idiot guy just kept digging a bigger hole of lies. He even offered to call back tomorrow so I could look at the legit website he gave me, grants.gov. wow seriously, these people will stop at nothing to screw you over. Wish the FCC would actually do there job and f....these [***] up.
