Multiple hang-ups on my voicemail starting October 21st--sometimes 3x per day. This costs me money due to the type of pay-as-you-go cell plan I have. Recently, I canceled Sunday home delivery from the Washington Post due to poor service. If this is an attempt to get me back...it failed! Hang-up calls on VM seem to have stopped as of the end of October, hope so.
Just got a call too. They call about 3x a day, and the number comes up as being "Landmark". I don't bother to pick up because if I remember correctly it is one of two things: a political pollster who called around election time last year (another election is upcoming), or a Georgetown University fundraiser. Can't squeeze blood from a turnip!
I just got a call from (202) 534-3118 on my cell phone at 2:28 p.m. today (10/13/09) too. I did not pick up and they did not leave a message. As far as I know, this is the first time they've called me.
