Just received the same message. The person says her name is Rhonda Turner, gave a case number, said a case is pending against me by the US Treasury and if I did not respond or if they did not hear back from my lawyer, then all will come down on me. Crazy message. 202-552-6779. Bogus call
I am getting these "IRS" calls just about every day. Different voices, different wording, but similar messages: Respond back or they will come over and arrest you for tax evasion or something like that. I wish they would come over to see the special greeting I will have set up for them. Probably would cost too much to fly over from India or wherever to make the arrest, I assume. Is there a way to send some kind of electronic transmission back to the actual source to destroy their phone or main terminal, perhaps even setting off a mini-nuclear explosion there to take the callers out as well?
I heard the same message others reported. "State treasury" and this was a "second attempt" to call. After this if I don't call back they can't guarantee something. And at the end "good luck"

There was a recorded message left on Thursday. She said there is a lawsuit against me & if I, or my lawyer, don't call back, there will be threatening consequences.
