This number just called my cell phone about five minutes ago. I had the phone in my had as I was about to make a call, so I picked it up on the first ring. I said "hello" three times in about 5 seconds, then the man on the phone replied "hello?" like he just got a phone call that woke him up. He didn't say anything right away so I hung up.
If you think you're annoyed at these calls, listen to this: people are calling my 13 year old son on his cell phone and yelling at him to stop calling them (have personally witnessed and heard this and he hadn't been making any calls). I won't give you our area code but here's what I figured out is happening. My son's number is (XYZ)202-5551. So, whenever someone in our same area code (not 202)gets a call from that 202-555-1234 number and dials it back without using a 1, they get my son's cell phone! He doesn't want to change his number but I think we have to after reading these posts.
