Came home to a voicemail exactly like the messages above. How ridiculous, the IRS would never do this, you would get letters long before anything like what Fembot is describing. And the Call ID would not say "Unknown Caller". I really hope people are smart enough to not fall for this.
Call came in as DIR ASST IL with phone number of 331-555-0122. As others stated, female computer voice giving a badge number and stating she was with the US Treasury. Told us of tax fraud and we'd be prosecuted and we needed to call 202-559-0666 to avoid being arrested.
