Received a call saying the IRS was filing a suit against me. I was given the 202 area code number to call. When I called the number the called had come from, I was told this number was out of service. The call came from 734-424-2527, listed as Melissa Jackson.
Got the same thing, except my caller ID showed 736-424-2527. (different area code). Good to know that the IRS doesn't initiate legal action via telephone.
