My 91 year old mother received a phone call today from a man claiming to be Robert Anguizola, with the Federal Trade Commission. He told her she won $50 million and all she needed to do is pay the luxury tax of $4050. She told him she didn't have that kind of money on hand so he said they would accept $1600 instead. She told him she would see if she could borrow the money and call him back. Instead she called me to tell me "good news!"??? I told her it was a TOTAL SCAM and not to take any more of his calls. She insisted because he was with the federal government that it was not a scam. She is old and will believe anything. What can I do to stop this person from telling her anything and everything he can to get her to send him money?
