Got a call from this DC number with a message from Josh Adams (with an accent). He said he was from Federal Grants Office about the grant money for small businesses recently released from the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act. Told me to call 800-688-8205 within 24 hours. I did speak to him, the call disconnected, but he never mentioned anything about fees (yet). I did a little researching and found this is a scam, the Federal Grants Office does not exist, and getting a federal grant does not work the way he explains. The woman (like receptionist) who answered the 800# said her name was Rosemary and took a message. The original website was grantsgov.info.

Got call from this number stating that the business grat i allied for was granted! just needed to pay for the grant writer for the writing of the grant. talked to a andy moore and mailed out 2 checks for 265. and 200.00 then got call from him the week that grant was to come and said that it would be late come arond the end of the month. waited and called (2) weeks Later and all phone numbers disconneted. BIG FRAUD! Have all there infro and have reported then to the BBB, and FFC and the fedral fraud unit. So stay away from them>>>
