I got a call from a "Officer John White from the IRS". I did not pick up but listened to the voicemail. He claimed that there was a warrant for my arrest and that I owed the IRS money. When I called the number back to confront him, I got a different person and as soon as I called him out on the scam, he hung up. I called again and the same thing happened. Don't be fooled by these people. In my experience with these kinds of calls, the person has an accent that seems to be Indian (I'm not racist but this is something to keep in mind).

me and a coworker got simitlar calls and i told him them i was going to the cops if they kept it up in mass. you are supposed to give an id # if they call and they will only call after they have sent you many letters so its def a scam!!
just received a phone call from a John White (202) 580-8439 nothing but a scam. He threatened that my house had a lien on it and was going to arrest me. wouldn't answer the phone so he left the message on the machine. He too had an accent. SCAM..........
