Congress doesn't have time to regulate and legislate. Besides, it's a free country--1st and 2nd amendment or die, right?

Been getting calls regularly from this number.  Have not answered then until Tuesday 6/28/16 and the caller claimed to be from the DCCC wanting money.  He was rude and refused to end the call until he finally got disgusted with me and hung up.  Why can't we block calls to our land line like we can for our cell phone?

The way I do it, is when the landline rings, the name shows up on my TV screen or on the phone. If there is no name or a name I do not recognize, I do not answer it. Usually they do not leave a voice mail. Dead give away that it was a junk call.

You can.  check with your service provider on how - they all have different methods.  Typically you can also block all anonymous numbers.

Call for weeks I'm good time, sometimes several calls per day. I report to sites and to the FCC, but nothing seems to help. Does the do not call list actually do anything? We have been signed up since the very beginning, but telemarketing calls increase rather then decrease.
