I too have been receiving these unwanted calls. and i just don't answer them. they seem to be on a timer of some sort. sometimes it is as late as after 8 pm.
Receiving calls from this number, caller ID says it is AICR, which is American Institute for Cancer Research. Never any response when I answer the phone, which is what really ticks me off. Look up AICR and you will see the head honcho makes almost half a million annually. Enough said....
If there is a more irritating way for a telephone solicitor to do business I certainly don't what it would be. If they expect any sort of contribution or assistance from me they have been smoking their socks.
This is another alias that these idiots that buy up debt that is way beyond the statute of limitations use, hoping some sucker will think it is a legitimate donation line. I would think the honest charities would sue them for dirtying their reputation. Ignoring them works the best.
