I received a call from "No Caller ID" which tells me its most likely been blocked. The foreigner claimed he was with a federal government agency and I was selected to receive a $9,000.00 grant, no more no less for paying taxes on time, and meeting a few other criteria they mentioned for being a good citizen. I was told the reason for the call was because they tried to reach me last year via email and by letter by I didn't respond, so this year they are calling to tell about this "grant" from the government which is a gift to be used for something good, and nothing illegal like gambling or drugs, basically going back in the community, repairs for the home, or paying bills. They left a phone number to call and an ID number as a reference in order for me to claim my money giving 3 options in the way I could accept it.
