Received a call from 202 629 9364. Knew immediately it was fraud. The IRS WILL NOT CALL you. They will send you a letter. Do not fall for these crooks. I hope they are caught and put under the jail for life.
This phone number left a message informing me I owed back taxes and must contact a tax attorney immediately. I called them and they claimed to be the IRS. They person whom I spoke to had a heavy Indian accent and claimed his name was Jason. He said his IRS number was 963636. He would not provide any other details and claimed I was sent multiple notices and never responded; hence, I needed to contact a tax attorney.
Got a call from this no. And someone left a message saying I owe the IRS. I know I didn't owe any money from the IRS so I called back. Luckily no one pick up.i search for the IRS no and get a hold with someone and they told me that IRS will not call but send a notice if u owe them...
