I've been getting calls from this guy for sometime now, the time he did answer, he claimed to be a friend of my husbands, someone that he "hung out" with.  I knew this to be a load of $#. When I told him that, that wasn't true, he became enraged!!! and his language became very offensive and abusive.  I still get calls from this number, no one says anything but I suspect that it is him, all he?, does is sit there and listen.  I don't know who this creep is but we suspect that he is some loser of a scam artist, who's trying to make us his next target. If you just happen to be him, reading, guess what you loser of a JERK!!! we're on to your sorry little tricks to try and get our personal info. I've got an idea, try getting a REAL JOB, and become a productive member of society??? that may be a stretch, but give it a try, maybe then a can look in the mirror and like what you see.

To everyone else, just be on the look out for these SCAM ARTISTS, they'll say ANYTHING to get what they want,  Good Luck,

This person called my mother today and said they were from the National Gaming Commission Fraud Department and told her she had won $450,000 and told her the only thing she would have to pay is insuranace and registration.  Because she had been scammed just this past Monday by someone telling her she had won the sweepstakes but had to pay $299 to get the money and because she was an elderly person she went to Walmart to send the money gram (without my knowledge) and thankfully the person at the moneygram window knew it was a scam and sent her on her way.  We discussed this and I told her if she ever got a call like this again to get a name and number.  The person that called today actually gave her his name and number (202) 629-9456 and an extention of 216.  I called and immediatly suspected something by the way the phone was answered but asked for exptention 216 just to see.  A person came on the line with a "not American" accent, maybe Jamakian but I can't be sure.  He told me the same thing my mother told me.  When I asked why the fraud department would be "giving" out money, he said they check all sweepstakes for ligitimacy and the "Care Giving Association" is ligit and wanted to inform my mother that she had won.  He said all he needed from me was a fax number so he could send her the info explaining what she had won.  I actually gave him my fax number just to see if he would send anything.  Haven't received anything yet but I will continue to check a few times just to see if he actually sends something.  I tried to look up the National Gaming Commission and found alot of "Indian" gaming commissions but then I decided to google the phone number to see what I got and this website came up.  I don't know whom to contact about this but since the last post was on Oct. 2, 2008 then who knows, maybe they are still working their game.

I just got a call from 202 747 2669 and the caller identifed themselves from the fraud department of the National Gaming Commission.  I asked this guy why they were calling me and apparently I had won something.  I said that I did not apply for anything to win and was then asked wheher I submitted anything through a magazine etc.  I said I did not.  Then the guy said do you then want to forfeit your winnings which is what he would need to do next.  I said to go ahead and forfeit it.  After that I googled the fraud dept of national gaming commission and found all the blogs about scam artists.  I was lucky enought not to get caught to the scam but authorities need to be made aware of unscrupulous people like this caller that is trying to scam innocent people.
