I received a call from a John Miller, with a foreign accent. Phone number (456)789-4522. He said that I will receive a grant from the Government in the amount of $9200. Adter that, he told me that to call (202)630-1038 to get give them a transaction code or whatever. ANC305. I called them and started asking questions, because he said that I would have to pay a small fee. When I yold him that I shouldn't have yo pay a fee to receive free money issued by yhe government, guy hung on me. It's definitely a scam.
I was contacted by an individual named Jack that I was receiving a grant money for 8,500.00. To contact # 202-630-1038 & provide ID # IZ619 to claim amount thru Western UNION, Individual has a foreign accent (Indian or Pakistan).
Got a call for us government grant for 8500 and told to call 202-630-1038 to claim with an Id number...a Middle Eastern accent of course.. I have not called this number because it seems like a scam. But has anyone else called it to find out? I'm curious
Total scam. There is no loan/grant. Scam originates in India and Pakistan. They want you to wire them a "fee" and once you've done that, you never hear form them again. Ignore and block these calls. You might want to block the entire 202 area code. It is often used by these scammers.
