Tell me because he is very genuine and helping person. he has already helped me that is the reason guys I am telling u, so DO NOT believe to Susan. she is lier. he helped me for my case and he also provided me all the documents and receipt after paying. so i suggest u guys that you can believe it.
recieved 10 calls in 3 hours. was told his name was Jose Sanders, a collections ATTORNEY licensed with the bar in dc. He told me I owed for an unpaid cash advance and had to pay it today or i would go to jail. I was called every name in the book but a white girl and was told he did not give a F*#@ about me not having a loan. He is NOT an attorney and the company he works for is not located in DC it is located in indonesia, doesnt that explain everything!
I keep getting calls from a group of men who do not speak good English. They say that I will be arrested and that there are legal allegations against me. I keep telling them if this is true they would have to notifiy by mail with the legal documents. I have had payday loans but I think if there is a problem they try to work it out with you or refer it to a settlement agency.
Received two messages on my home phone number from Ken Murphy. One message taken by a former employer who contacted me with Ken Murphy's info as well. Said he was with White and Case Law Firm. When eventually I called back, he continued on about his client having a lawsuit against me for a loan that was never paid - to the tune of $6900. I pressed him for info about his client, name, telephone number, etc. He said I would find all that out in the affidavit he would read for me. I wasn't provided with any info and by this time he is getting pissy because I keep challenging him on things. I told him to just turn it over to the state and I would see his client in court..because that is what he was threatening. Not to mention jail time. Because I know this is false info but he actually has my SSN, I immediately filed a police report. Then I contacted the reporting agencies to the credit bureau and put a fraud alert on my SSN so if anyone tries to take a loan, credit card, etc. in my name the lending company has to contact me in person first. Next I contacted White and Case Law Firm. They are a legitimate, worldwide law firm but kinda laughed when I asked about Ken Murphy and his assistant Jose. They weren't laughing because of the situation I was in, but because I was nearly the 100th caller that very day with the same questions/concerns. They said they do not employ Ken Murphy with an assistant by the name of Jose, that it was a bogus/scam call, to NOT send any money. While I am speaking to these various folks, Ken Murphy called 5 times, which I did not answer. Once I was finished, he called another time. This one I answered. He persisted on with the collection of the debt to settle out of court or would see me in court. This is when I told him of all the contacts I made and he became very dark and threatening saying things like I have all your information, I hold your future in my hands, I can destroy you....then he said f*&k you, f**k you and hung up on me. Yeah right, this is a professional attorney/attorney assistant named Ken Murphy with White and Case law firm. This guy has a very strong asian or indian or some kind of accent and English is not good, hard to understand anyway. Be VERY aware - DO NOT verify any information with him of any kind!!! DO NOT make any kind of payment arrangements with him! DO report it to the credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Transunion and Experian)! DO file a police report! DO let your bank know. DO NOT let him intimidate you by his so called legalese - he is no more an attorney than I.
I keep getting the same message as the people above. I've talked to Jose & Ken Murphy. Telling me I"m going to jail. I borrowed money from a payday loan place, which I didn't. He had all my information & said they were going to come arrest me, which I can the police & got details that you can't go to jail over a debt, unless you are served papers & go to court first. They have called my employer & told them I never pay my bills & tried to get me fired. My employers finally told them not to call there any longer or they would file charges. I've been going through this for over 5 months, getting 8 to 10 calls a day from different phone numbers. I finally called them back & told them to serve me paperwork, I look forward to going to court, as I had proof I've never borrowed anything from a payday loan place. To stop harrassing me, as that's against the law. I don't know if it will work, but the next time they call & will have more to say to them.
