This is a long-running scam.  You are asked to pay a fee or "tax" so you can get your "grant money".  Called an advance fee scam.  You did not get a grant or win a contest.  Please be careful.

What did they tell you?

I got a call from this number too and spoke with Michael (Lee) Clark. He told me that I got a grant for answering a survey and asked me for my bank account number. I thought it was legitimate since I did take a survey for my college. I immediately backed away when they asked me to purchase iTunes cards amounting to $250.00. I also spoke with a Robert Young at (646)504-0791 and was asking me to purchase $500 worth of iTunes cards.

Called my 77 year old Mother and told her she needed to go to western union to get her grant for $9,250... SCAM
