I actually was home and just received call from an " out of area" phone number and the gentleman spoke with a very deep voice and it sounded scary and eery. He said that he was from the IRS, his name was Kay Walker and after I asked, he gave me his identification number, and then said I owed taxes over $8800 for taxes between 2008 and 2015. He said that I could make payments of $2000 a year, but if I didn't do anything that I would be arrested and that my bank accounts would be frozen and that they would come to my house and arrest me and lock me up. I knew it was a scam but I played along and insisted he send it to me in writing so I could have my tax accountant review it all. He said they have too many people who are delinquent so they don't have the time to do this. Since my husband is the primary person on our taxes and he wasn't even part of this I knew something was wrong. So I'm not too worried about it. But glad to see that someone is taking the time to put this phone number into this place so I can add my comment on it. this was a really shady conversation. I didnt even make enough money on my own to warrant this much in discrepancies, esp since we pay more in our deductions and have always got a check back. Anyway, beware! They try to sound really scary.
Same as above last attempt to reach you you'll have to appear before a grand jury. Almost impossible to understand telephone # in order to return call. When I returned call man had heavy accent tried to be very intimidating when I spoke roughly to him he told me to stop interrupting, shut up & hung up.
