Who called from 2026574177

Recorded message claimed to be the IRS and would be filing a law suit if not called back at 202-657-4177 finale warning.

My father got a call from this number claiming to be the IRS and filing a lawsuit against him.  When I called back I got a person who spoke with a foreign accent.  He proceeded to hang up on me after I asked him a question.  I called back and got another person this time a women with a foreign accent.  Again when I asked questions she hung up the phone.  I feel this is a scam.  Calling to report it to the IRS.

I just received this call at 1pm , claiming that the IRS has a lawsuit against me and that I should call back immediately about this matter.  I did not call back, I remember hearing about this on the news, I'm so glad I remember  I heard this on the news, I'ts awful we have to deal with this on a daily basis.

This call went to our voicemail - which is then transcribed into an email - the following message was left:

"Get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 202-657-4177. I repeat 202-657-4177. Thank you."

SO tired of these people.
