At 9:25 a.m. I spoke to a woman with an Indian or Middle-Eastern accent who told me that I was receiving a $7,000.00 grant from the government, which does not have to be paid back...
I gave her no information but she did have my current mailing address and phone number. She did not know my age nor birthdate. She said that I could either have the money put into my bank account or have it wired to me by western union.
I told her that under no circumstances was I giving my bank account information to anyone so she said that she would put me down for the western union money transfer and gave me a confirmation code and the 202-657-4727 number to call.
It happened to me too last Friday at 5pm, i never called back. What i know there is no free money.....
She start by saying that you dont have to pay back anything...blah blah.....
Well just last week a lady called me and before that a guy called me saying the same exact thing, but me being naive to the fact that it could be a scam actually believed them. I didn't give them my bank information but i did give my debit card number,and I also sent them $257 so I could receive the grant money that they were talking about. Now I'm sitting here feeling and looking stupid because I ain't received nothing.....
