At 5:58AM this morning someone claiming the IRS was suing me called. Why they did not say. First clue something about this call was screwy: Incoming call screen read "Ohio" as place of origination; second clue was they used the term Internal Revenue Services. As far as I know IRS stands for Internal Revenue Service.
got this call same as others...sounds official...says IRS is filing lawsuits against me...call this number...final notice.
called and no answer...looked up number...sounds like a scam...I have no issues with the IRS...all taxes up to date...
checking my messages and received a call from a number of 202-657-5592 stating they were the IRS,in that we were under investigation. I Google the number and found out it was a scam.I found a number to call 1-800-366-4484 also there is a website www.tigta.gov or FTC.gov.
