Received a call this morning 3/22/13 from a Steven Johns stating that I been awarded $7000.00 through a federal government grant fund and to contact Helen Smith, account manager at 202-657-5873. When calling this number it goes directly to a voice mail and upon further investigating found the number is a cell number which always goes to the voice mail. Upon attempting to call Steven Johns back, the call went to voicemail. Scam written all over it! Do not give any of your personal information to these people. The options for receiving the cash were either by cash or your credit card.
I receive a call from them too about a grant for 7000 dollars and they gave me the same number and when i called the answered me. they told me that i have to go to a walmart or cvs and get a green go money card or something which is like 5 dollars and that throughout the whole process they would be on the phone with me.
