I received a call on my house phone from John Ladson (very heavy Indian accent that I had trouble understanding the last name even when he spelled it). He said he was from the U.S. Government Grants Department. According to him, I'm eligle for a $5,000.00 grant from the US Government because I simply pay my taxes on time every year.
He needed to wire the money via Western Union and I'd need to take a photo ID (asking if I had one also) and it was going to cost me $199.00 today and they take credit cards. He asked if I had one.
I asked him where he worked and was told Washington D.C. I asked him the address of the building and he said it was 200 Triple H Bldg (the H was very very very difficult to get from him) and he's in Washngton, D.C. and when I asked the zip code he kept asking if I could hear him and I could plainly. I was then cut off and the jerk called again and I again asked him the zip code to which he gave me 20201. He then transferred me to his "SUPERVISOR" Alex Johnson.
Alex Johnson (AKA PEGGY) told me the same thing. He was actually the one who I was able to get John's last name from as I still couldn't understand John by the end of the call. I was cut off from Alex a couple of times but he called me back! I got his phone number of (202) 657-6167 and when my daughter called it, it went directly through to his voice mail and then he answered it.
When I told him that I was going to report him to the FBI and BBB and US Government, he got upset and angry and started getting rather nasty mouthed. It's another scam!

same as the above, they called me twice this morning. i go to the nearest western union set up an account in my name, pay a 199.00 security deposit in my name, i give them a call back with the confirmation number and with in 22 to 25 minutes i will recieve $6,000.00 and get my 199.00 back too.
I have been getting calls non stop from an unknown number I would just ignore the call. Unfilled today. And the same story exactly. I wrote down the number the guy gave me, but ofcourse I just played along I knew it wasn't true it was too good. $6000 jugs for paying taxes on time WOW!so I googoed the number and got this page. They are waiting for my call. They sit down and wait for ever Cuz I'm not calling.
