An Indian accent said I wine a grant of $7,500.. I didn't try the number but I believe it is a scam. No one is going to give me that much money. If it seems too good to be true it probably is. He told me to call right away and speak to Marvin. I hope this helps someone.
This was the number given by the FIRST scammer (202-657-2521) who told my wife that she is being offered a FREE $1000 for being a good citizen, and then asked for bank information and my wife said to send a check. It was a lady who had an indian accent and then said to call the manager for more information, which is this number here. Total phishing scam.
Don't fall for this scam.They tried to tell me that my name was chozen at random because I payed my bills on time.Wanted me to get a Green Dot money pac and open it with 200 dollars using my first and last name.Please don't fall for this.

The government does not contact people to offer them money. If you do qualify for a government grant, the government does not request payment for it.
