I received a call from an unknown block number saying I waS approved for a grant by the government. I was told it was random anD asked for my banking info. The individual said he was calling from d.c. The guy had a really strong indian accent though. He gave me a call back number which had another middLe eastern accent guy Answer with better english. This guy diuble checked my info and told me the goverment did not pay the wire transfer. For the grant and I would have to westErn union the money to them. This is what. Caused my red flag, being he never asked for my ssn. I told him ill call him back. They've been calling me all week.

This is perfect in description.. Iam 100 percent sure now that this was a scam.. Yes the excitement will throw you because iwas really going to pay them but iwas also suspicious about the simplicity, having to pay up front, and the fact that the number was unknown.. Ithank everyone here this is so much help.. Idont have any money to waste im eighteen with a child working trying to get in college and everything iwould have been devistated had ipayed and lost my money.. My trust issues sure come in handy.. I think that everyone on this website is truely blessed with great judgement and intellegence. Wow this is a shame but thak god for this.. Everyone be blessed..
I just received the same call as Ross..... Is this a scam??? Sounds too good to be true really but I could also use the money for my schooling. If anyone knows anything please say something
They called me , i was so desperate for cash I did it too , they got $210 out of me . little [***] . im pissed . After i called back and said I wanted my money back he started mocking me and said no he wouldn't give it back and hung up . i keep calling but no one answers .
