these idiots have been calling me for weeks. luckily i looked on google to make sure wat they were telling me was true or not. they asked me to wire 250 bucks in return for 7000. it didnt make any sense. luckily i looked.
YES folks these people are a scam. I know for experience, I was the naive one to send them 300.00 through Western Union. These callers are from India spoofing their numbers, deceiving you into believing they are calling from WA DC. Give the fraud hotlines ANY info you can, Right down everything they tell you as well as time, number, ANYTHING I am doing anything to help BUST these call centers coming from India.
THEY CALLED ME AND ASK ME TO WIRE $250 FOR $7000 IN RETURN. THEY ARE PRETENDING AS IF THEY WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT. THE NAMES THEY ARE GIVING ARE CALVIN MORRIS AND MARK SPENCER. THIS IS A SCAM AND I AM GOING TO THE ATTORNEY'S GENERAL OFFICE TO FILE A COMPLAINT. ANY INFORMATION THAT THEY HAVE GIVEN ME TO CONTACT THEM BACK I AM TURNING OVER TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES.

Figuring with my school loans and other bills, I went ahead and donated 250$ by Western Union to India, and then when my grant money did not show up, I called and asked "why" they said I needed another 400$!! What a joke! I called my lawyers, but all-in-all, I will be out 250$
