Received multiple calls over days. When answered, got a disconnect. When calling back the number, got a "circuits busy" message. Finally, received a call with someone on the line. In a very foreign voice, was told that he was calling from the US Treasury. As if. I interupted and asked to please be put on the "DO NOT CALL" list. He started his spiel again and I reaffirmed my desire to not be called again, at which point he called me a stupid [***]. I hung up and ran to get another hanky to dry my tears (LOL).
It's a scam! They called me yesterday 3 times from 202-666-2077 yesterday and called me again 3 times from 202-666-4185. I did some research yesterday on everything and reported the number. Today when they called (some guy names William R.) he said he was calling me back from the US Treasury and I said "No you're not." He replied with "F*** you." and hung up on me. Don't waste your time!

I have a very good habit of not answering calls from unidentified numbers, so when I got a call from this number I thought, I don't know anyone in DC, well, except for one well-known individual and I don't imagine he would be calling me, therefore, I did not answer. Almost did...glad I didn't. The number is now blocked!!!
I got a couple(no less than 6) phone calls from (202) 666-4185 saying they were from "The US Treasury". I have been randomly selected to receive a $4,500.00 "GRANT" that I do not have to pay back. All the nice foreign man needed from me to get me this "FREE GRANT" money was my bank account number. After I offended him by asking for his supervisor's direct number he started to give it to me but stopped after 202 said "you know what I am not going to give it you." So the only number I have is (202) 666-4185, the one that has been calling for a few days. I try to call this number back, BUT the circuit is always busy. So goes the scam. I hope this information can be used to catch a terror funding organization. If not a poor excuse for a scam artist.
Thank you guys for posting you comments and experiences as I was starting to have anxiety, thinking that I was a part of some type of conspiracy having been contacted by 'Washington D.C." at a "666" number. Nobody answered when I called the # back and I kept getting the "circuits are busy recording" (3 times). Now I know that this is clearly a scam of some sort...Will be blocking the #.
