Asked for me by my first name. I just said, "Who's calling?" He never asked again if I was the person he was trying to reach. Very heavy Middle Eastern Accent said he was from the Federal Government and was calling to let me know that I had been awarded a $400 grant "for being a good citizen of the United States." Wanted me to give him my banking information "so we can direct deposit the money from the Federal Reserve Bank in New York City." I told him I do not give out my banking information to random callers. I asked why the Federal Government would choose such a method to give out "grants" when there are so many scams going around now trying to get people to divulge their banking information, and why I haven't heard anything about these kinds of grants on the news. He couldn't answer me. Ended up saying he would have his supervisor call me tomorrow...
I recently received this call many times. But, I know it's scam again. sometimes I picked up and waited for his talking first, unfortunately, he kept silence....
