Got this number calling since last week.. First time I didn't know.. I answered, it was a man with a very strong middle eastern accent and in a very bad reception area... sounded more like a bad internet call... Couldn't understand him, so I hanged up.
Today, got the same number calling again... twice in one hour.
Two calls from this number today, CID unavailable. First time rep said he was from some bogus federal group/agency, second call rep asked to speak with my spouse sans introduction. I told him no, he then asked why not to which I said "because I told you that you may not." His reponse - f to the u see k you. Not spelled out...
I got this call at 3:00 on the dot from DC, USA. This is the 3rd (different) unknown number that has called me today...When I answered, I heard my own voice repeating in the background. I called the number back on a different phone line, it rang 3 times and then an automated voice said "We're sorry, all circuits are busy at this time. Please try again later. Goodbye."...I don't like it.
This number has called my phone twice today without a voice mail. Good luck with that, I don't answer for numbers I don't recognize. Leave a message like any legit business would or I'll assume you're a scammer, stroll on over to my cell provider's website, and permanently block you. Due to the previous comments though, I'm just going to assume this is a phising scam or some bill collector seeking the former owner of my number and I'll continue to ignore your calls.
Same thing for me. I'm sitting at my desk with my phone ringer off and have watched the phone light up 3 times in the past 4 hours with a call from this number. No message left.
I'm assuming not a debt collector, since I'm not in debt :-)
