Same here called yesterday also finally answered said I had thousands coming through grant when I said can't believe government was giving me that amount of money and hadn't received any letter about it. Said all this knowing it was a scam. The caller went silent on other end but know they were still there hung up. Now received another call this morning could barely understand them because of the foreign accent. I hung up IDing it SPAM not answering. Only answered first day because they called me several times minutes apart.

This Number called me but didnt say anything or leave a message. tried to call them back and got no answer ..just a sound as if it was a busy number or a number that doesnt exist.
Number called 2 hours apart. It was a foreign guy with a very heavy accent who was hard to understand. The number said it came from Washington. They kept calling so I answered it. Once I could finally understand the guy, he said he was from the US Department of Treasury. At that point, I hung up, blocked the number, and knew it was a scam. The real number to the US Department of Treasury is this:(202) 622-2000 ....Essentially what they are doing is having a number that looks similar. Don't give out any info or fall for it.
